Scarves are a must-have accessory during any season that can subtly enhance a casual look. But during the late fall and winter seasons, a scarf is more than just a stylish addition to your wardrobe- it’s a means for surviving the cold weather months.
If you don’t wear scarves often, then when it’s cold outside, there’s only one way you may be inclined to wear any scarf, and that way is to keep warm! Yet, that doesn’t mean you have to put on your preferred scarf the same way each day. Try these four simple ways to wear your favorite scarf during the chilly seasons that will help keep you looking stylish, while feeling snug and warm:
The Cowl Neck – Place the scarf around your neck. Wrap one end around again. Even out the ends, and tie ends into a half knot- so you end up with two loops around your neck. Adjust the loops until you have the comfort and volume that you like.
The Classic Wrap – Hold your scarf on each end and place it around the back of your neck. Take one end of the scarf and wrap it around your neck once. Re-adjust the scarf around your neck to a more comfortable position at the center so that both ends of the scarf hang evenly.

The Simple Loop – Fold the scarf in half so that one end is looped. Place the scarf around your neck and pull the loose end through the loop. Adjust the scarf around your neck for comfort.
The Pretzel – Fold the scarf in half so that one end is looped. Place the scarf around your neck with the loop on one side. Pull one of the two ends through the loop. Take the other end and place it on top of the loop, then pull it through the opposite way. Adjust the scarf for the right volume and comfort.
